Update for Amara: Hi everyone! My name is Amara and I am so happy to be in a nice warm house with my foster parents! I was living outside in the cold and I think couches are much nicer to lay on! I am a playful 8 month old pitbull mix that would love a family to play fetch with. I am working on potty training and kennel training, but I would rather be out of my kennel with people!
Pupdate: Spunky little Amara she is still looking for her forever home! She is an approximately 8-month-old pittie mix with lots of puppy energy! She is good with dogs and kids and likes to wrestle and chase the resident dogs in her foster home.


Prior to adoption, Amara will be spayed, vaccinated, health checked and microchipped.

Happy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5 and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family.

If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.



Home visits (video tours or in person) are required for all dog adoptions. 

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
